Summary

Sprocket Interactive’s name—and its entire brand—all sprang up from the brand’s icon. We called it the Sprocket. Inspired by the Jetsons, little green men, SCIENCE, and anything and everything sci-fi, Sprocket’s colors and typography come straight from outer space.

Each of the accompanying sub-brands—Sprocket Lab and Sprocket Play— transforms the Sprocket in its own way: one into a laboratory beaker, the other into a play button. This brand extension brings a sense of unity across all three services Sprocket provides: interactive design, experimental design and educational materials, and online streaming.
